HD Equipment Rentals & Sales - Rental Policy
Equipment Return and Extension
1. **Return Deadline:** All rented equipment must be returned to HD Equipment Rentals & Sales by the specified date no later than 5:00 PM on the last day of the rental period. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure timely return of the equipment to avoid any inconvenience or additional charges.
2. **Extension Requests:** If the customer wishes to extend the rental period, they must notify HD Equipment Rentals & Sales prior to the return deadline. Extension of the rental period is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If the equipment is not booked for the following day, we may accommodate the extension request based on our discretion.
3. **Late Returns:** In the event that rented equipment is not returned on time and an extension has not been approved or requested, late fees may be incurred. Late fees are calculated based on our standard rates and will be communicated to the customer.
Damage and Liability
1. **Damage Inspection:** Upon return, all equipment will be inspected for damage. Customers are expected to return the equipment in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period, barring normal wear and tear.
2. **Liability for Damage:** Customers may be held liable for any severe damage to the equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, dents, flat tires on trailers, and any other damage that affects the functionality or significantly diminishes the value of the equipment.
3. **Damage Charges:** In cases where severe damage is identified, HD Equipment Rentals & Sales reserves the right to charge the customer's card for the costs associated with repairing or replacing the equipment. The cost will be determined based on the extent of the damage and the current market value of the equipment.
Payment and Charges
1. **Payment Authorization:** By renting equipment from HD Equipment Rentals & Sales, the customer authorizes the company to charge their credit card for rental fees, late fees, and any charges related to damage as outlined above.
2. **Right to Charge:** HD Equipment Rentals & Sales reserves the right to charge the customer's credit card for any of the aforementioned fees and charges. Customers will be notified of any such charges in a timely manner.
Agreement
